CYBERARK MIGRATION USING REST API
Business Problem : A client wanted to migrate their on-premises CyberArk infrastructure from version 10.5 on-premise to version 12.6, hosted on AWS, without upgrading their existing environment or incurring any downtime during the same. The migration was accomplished by developing custom PowerShell scripts using CyberArk’s REST API with consideration to the major version difference.
Challenge : The no downtime requirement coupled with the significant version difference, meant that using the conventional method of upgrading the environment and backing up the data to the new one would not work. A new and innovative method had to be realized for this migration.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS & IDNOW INTEGRATION
Business Problem : The client wanted to integrate Google Analytics with SailPoint IdentityNow. This would enable the automation and management of Google Analytics access. The integration will be carried out by utilising Google Analytics REST APIs on the IdentityNow web services connector.
Challenge : Configuring a WebServices connector to use the Google Analytics REST API, necessitated additional research into user access and entitlements in Google Analytics. In addition, the API calls required dynamic URL’s based on various properties of entitlements and users.
