Developing a custom web application with secure engineering to extend Saviynt IGA's capabilities for Account claiming at a Higher Education Institute
A client wanted to allow its students and staff a way to use securely generated one-time passwords as part of the user onboarding process. SecurDI’s engineering team designed a novel approach to extend Saviynt IGA’s capabilities and achieve this requirement.
- Development of a custom web application using Java and Spring Boot was performed
- Saviynt API calls were configured within the application to perform security checks within the unique user profile properties
- One Time Passwords were sent to users after validation of the attributes which allowed the user to set up their accounts
Our engineering team was able to use users attributes (Including PII), securely handle data exchange and allow users to perform self registration.
